GOLF VII ONLY:
If this car does not have OEM PDC (Parking sensors in the rear
bumper), you MUST setup this module differently. Follow the steps below:
a.
Disconnect the main
Power/CAN
connector from the module
b.
Locate the dip switches on the side of the module and verify that
dip switch 6 is
DOWN
(the rest are less important).
c.
Re-connect the main
Power/CAN
connector. Turn the car on and wait for the
radio to boot and settle.
d.
Press and HOLD
the
‘OK’
button on the steering wheel for 5 seconds. An OSD
menu will appear on the factory media screen.
e.
Navigate to
PDC
under
Rear view camera settings
and turn this option
OFF.
f.
Save the configuration and return to the factory screen.
12.
Start the car and test for proper functionality before replacing any dash pieces.
