TROUBLE SHOOTING

SYMPTOM CAUSE 

SOLUTION 

Console display 
doesn’t illuminate 
 

A).No power to treadmill. 
B).Console wire is not fully 

connected.  

C).Overload, over current 

breaker has been tripped.   

D).Console power source 

damaged  

A). Insure the on-off switch is on. If switch indicator 
light isn’t illuminated, insure AC power cord is fully 
inserted in receptacle and breaker is not tripped. 
B).

 Remove console (reverse assembly starting at 

step 3.3) Inspect to insure wiring harness plugs 
are fully connected and that all pins are fully 
inserted into plugs.   

C).

 Check breaker (near on/off switch). Push 

breaker in to reset. If power is restored, deck/belt 
maintenance may be required.   

D).Turn off power, open the motor cover, turn on 
the power The power pilot lamp (LED2) on the 
interface PCB should be illuminated. If not, contact 
customer service. 

 

Display not 
completely 
illuminated 

A).Console damaged. 
B).Console source power 

unstable. 

A).Replace the console PCB. 
B).Check power, turn off power then open the 
motor cover, turn on the power and check the 
console power pilot lamp(LED2 on the interface 
PCB. should be illuminated, if not, contact 
customer service

 

LS is displayed 

A).RPM sensor problem. 
B).Driver system problem. 

A).Turn off power, wait 15 seconds then turn on 
again, press start. If motor works and LS is still 
shown,

 

turn off power,

 

open the motor cover,

 

insure the sensor wire is connected correctly or 
replace it if defective. If motor does not work, 
proceed to step B. 
B).

 

Turn off power, open the motor cover and 

replace the interface PCB. If motor still doesn’t 
start, replace inverter.

 

Show E1 

Memory device damaged. 

Replace console PCB. 

Show E2 

Console can not receive the 
incline motor signal or signal 
error. 

1.  Reset power by unplugging machine from 

wall, wait 30 seconds and plug back into wall. 

If incline motor works, remove motor cover 
and inspect to insure wiring harness plugs are 
fully connected and that all pins are fully 
inserted into plugs

 

2.  If wires check ok but still show E2, replace the 

incline motor VR. 

3.  Reset power, if incline still does not work, 

check that the incline operation pilot lamps 
LED4(UP) & LED5(DOWN) illuminates when 
operate the incline function is activated, if not 
light, check console wire or replace interface 
PCB. 

If lights illuminate correctly – Contact 

Customer Service

 

Show LUBRICATE 
DECK 

Belt/Deck Maintenance 
required 

Perform deck / belt maintenance per previous 
instructions. 

 

Show E3 

OTC 

short circuit over 5 

seconds.

 

1.  Wipe sweat off the OTC to prevent bad 

connections. 

2.  Check to insure connection wire isn’t broken

 
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a 
similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
