Unit will not turn on, power switch does NOT
light up

Power switch turned off
Make sure the power switch at the right rear of
the unit is in the “ON” position
- If switch lights up but console is still off
proceed to step 2
- If switch does not light up continue to step 1.2

Outlet
Make sure outlet is functioning correctly. Verify
this by plugging another object (ex: lamp) into
the outlet. If outlet is connected to a light switch,
check to make sure it is on. If outlet is not func-
tioning find a working outlet.

Power cord not plugged in Make sure the
power cord is firmly secured to A/C inlet on the

A/C Inlet
Disconnect power cord from unit. Follow A/C IN-
LET part replacement instructions to remove inlet.
Secure all wiring connections and re-assemble.
If power switch still does not light replace A/C
INLET.

Power switch is lit but display screen does not
turn on

Safety Key
Make sure safety key is in place.

Power to machine
Make sure control board is receiving power. From
vent near power switch look inside to make sure
there are LEDs visibly lit inside machine.
- If lights visible proceed to step 2.3.
- If no lights are visible disconnect power cord and
wait for 5 minutes. Remove rear step and inspect
that wires are connected securely. Motor Control-
ler replacement instructions show proper wiring
connections. If all wiring is secure and problem
persists replace MOTOR CONTROLLER.

I/O Cable
Check I/O Cable connections at rear of machine
and at upper control board (remove 5 screws on
access panel under console to check). If display
still will not light up cable can be tested by
replacing it with any standard (not crossover) Cat
5 ethernet cable such as is used to connect a com-
puter to a high-speed internet modem or router.
For testing purposes cable can be run outside the
Uprights. If display turns on with substitute cable,
or if no cable is available for testing purposes,
replace I/O CABLE.

Upper Console
If power to machine is verified, I/O cable has been
replaced, safety key is in place, and display still
does not illuminate replace UPPER CONSOLE.

Console displays letter and number error code

Console beeps to warn of motor overload and
stops belts
4.1
Unit cool down
Allow unit to cool down for one hour before using.
If warning recurs frequently proceed to step 4.2.
4.2
Belt lubrication
Check that belts are being lubricated at recom-
mended intervals.
4.3
Overuse
If multiple people are using the machine con-
secutively reschedule to allow a break between
workouts
