MD-10
THRESH
Flashes between tone periods during normal keyed
MCW operation. Continuously on when RF carrier
level falls below or exceeds fault thresholds or when
modulation level falls below fault threshold.
E1
MD-10
Battery Status Output
Transient Protection
Shunt post that adds/removes a transient protection
zener diode to the remote battery status output. It is
installed depending on the type of remote control being
used with the transmitter.
Installed to short pins 1 and 2 when a Nautel remote
control unit
is not
used.
Installed to short pins 2 and 3 when a Nautel remote
control unit
is
used.

MD-10
SWR Alarm Output
Transient Protection
Shunt post that adds/removes a transient protection
zener diode to the remote SWR alarm output. It is
installed depending on the type of remote control being
used with the transmitter.
Installed to short pins 1 and 2 when a Nautel remote
control unit
is not
used.
Installed to short pins 2 and 3 when a Nautel remote
control unit
is
used.
R8
MD-10
MOD THRESH
Adjusted to produce a modulation fault signal when
modulation level falls below the desired modulation
percentage (must be at least 1.0dB below carrier fault
threshold). Ultimately will cause the transmitter to
shutdown if the modulation percentage does not
exceed this minimum threshold level within delay
period of the shutdown circuit.
R10
MD-10
LOW CARRIER
Adjusted to produce a carrier fault signal when the RF
carrier falls below the desired level (usually by
3.0dB). Ultimately will cause transmitter shutdown if
the RF carrier output does not exceed this minimum
threshold level within the delay period of the shutdown
circuit.
