NeuroWorks / SleepWorks software configuration
This section provides instructions on programming the v32 and v44 amplifiers to
communicate with the NeuroWorks/ SleepWorks software tool via either DHCP or TCP/
IP. If applicable, it is possible choose an IP address that is consistent with the existing
networking scheme of the hospital. The tool used for this is ProgramDevice.exe, which
allows you to configure the hardware protocol required for each amplifier and system.
1. Cycle amplifier power.
2. From the Neuroworks install directory folder, double-click on ProgramDevice.exe
(Neuroworks > ProgramDevice.exe).
DHCP programing
1. Check the box next to Obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP) .
This action will gray out the IP address, Subnet mask and Default gateway.
2. Click Program Device .
The "Device is configured successfully" notification window appears.
3. Click Close .
TCP/IP programing
1. Manually edit the IP address to the facilities desired address by clicking in the field
and typing the new IP address .
2. Click Save .
3. Click Program Device .
The "Device is configured successfully" notification window appears.
4. Click Close .
Finishing setup
1. On the desktop, double-click on the Natus Database shortcut.
2. Click Tools > Options .
3. Select the Headboxes tab.
4. Click Refresh .
5. All the amplifiers/headboxes connected to the network will be listed in the Headbox
Configuration area.
6. Click OK to exit the Natus Database Options window.
7. Click Database > Exit to close the main software application.
