Introduction
Thank you for choosing to purchase this quality product. To minimise the risk of injury, we ask you to
always take some basic safety precautions when using this product. Please read this operating manual
carefully and make sure that you understand it.
Keep these operation instructions in a safe place.
Working principle
•
The Naturewater 5-step filtering system NW-PR305 has been especially designed to make use
of slightly dirty drinking water by quick and easy means. This system excels thanks to its easy
mounting and handling and is an affordable alternative to expensive devices
– with quality and
efficiency being equal.
•
When using an appropriate filter insert, you will be able to remove nearly all water contamina-
tions with the help of this system. The filter system offered is delivered with a
5
μ sediment
filter insert,
which reliably removes sand, rust, and algae as well as other suspended particles
from the water.
•
The
second filter step
is a granulated active carbon filter that removes ozone, pesticides, rust,
chalk particles suspended, and chlorine. In addition, it reduces the heavy-metal concentration
of the water (e.g., lead or copper).
•
The
third filter step
is an activated-carbon filter block. This removes ozone, pesticides, rust,
and chlorine from the water, reducing at the same time the heavy-metal concentration (e.g.,
lead or copper).
•
The
fourth and fifth filter stage
are each a T33 “Gourmet” activated-carbon afterfilter. These,
as afterfilters, remove ozone, pesticides, rust, chalk, and chlorine from the water, reducing at
the same time the concentration of heavy metals as lead, copper, etc. They also absorb smells
and adapt the taste of the purified water.
•
Activated carbon is characterised by a high efficiency and is thus used e.g. for industrial pur-
poses. The water used by industry is treated with activated carbon before being introduced into
our food because activated carbon is very reliable in filtering the largest part of poisonous sub-
stances off the water.
•
Possible contamination
s are thus reliably removed from your tap water, and the “Gourmet” filter
gives it a fresh and vivid taste, as if it were water taken directly from a source.
Attention!
•
The sediment and activated carbon filters cannot be washed out and need to be replaced ap-
proximately every 6 months (DIN 1988).
•
This system has neither an RO diaphragm (reverse osmosis), nor an ion exchanger. This means
that the content of vital natural minerals is largely conserved and there is only a little influence
on water hardness.
