4. DESCRIPTION OF THE FUNCTIONS
1. Fast boil:
The teapot heats up your water to 100°C quickly, sounds three times and then
switches to a constant temperature mode where it keeps your drink at 70°C for 12
hours. If you add cold water to the teapot and the temperature goes below 50°C,
your drink will start to boil again.
2. Black tea:
The teapot heats up your water to 100°C quickly, then switches to automatic mode
and heats it up for another 15 minutes. The display shows the countdown and your
drink will be kept warm at 70°C for 12 hours after the 15 minutes.
3. Power:
The power is set to a default of 500 W but you can adjust this over a range of 20
to 1000 W. The teapot will switch itself off after 40 minutes if you do not press
anything.
4. Healthy water:
The teapot heats up your water to 100°C quickly, then switches to automatic
mode and heats it up for an additional three minutes to get rid of any chlorine
molecules that may be in the water, making it healthier as a result. After these
three minutes, your water will be kept warm at 75°C for 12 hours.
5. Boil 1h:
The teapot heats up your water to 100°C quickly, then switches to automatic mode
and heats it up slowly for an additional 60 minutes. After these 60 minutes, your
drink will be kept warm at 75°C for 12 hours.
6. Infusion:
The teapot heats up your water to 100°C quickly, then switches to automatic mode
and heats it up slowly for an additional 30 minutes. After these 30 minutes, your
drink will be kept warm at 75°C for 12 hours.
7. Thermostat:
Set your drink at the desired temperature by selecting the «Thermostat» function
and then pressing the «Regulate» button to adjust the temperature. It can be ad-
justed across a range of 45 to 100°C, with each press of the button representing
an increase of 5 degrees. Once you have selected the temperature you want, it will
be constantly kept at this for 12 hours.
This product must be used at an ambient temperature of between 0 and 60°C
otherwise it will not work properly or will get damaged. The relative humidity must
be below 90% RH.
Cleaning and descaling:
1. Always disconnect the teapot before cleaning it.
Never use rough scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or corrosive fluids
such as turpentine or acetone.
Do not immerse the body or base of the teapot in water or other liquids.
2. Clean the surface using lukewarm water and washing-up liquid.
Tips for descaling:
Regular descaling can extend the product’s lifetime.
For average use (five times a day), we recommend descaling the teapot once every
three months if you use it with mineral water or once every month if you fill it with
water that is very hard.
To descale the teapot:
1. Fill the teapot three quarters full with water and boil it.
2. Disconnect the electric teapot and add vinegar (8% acidity) up to the maximum line.
3. Leave the vinegar and water in the teapot overnight.
4. Pour out the water and vinegar, then rinse the glass pot thoroughly with water.
5. Refill your teapot with water and boil it.
6. Pour the water out again and rinse the inside of the glass pot with water again.
7. If necessary, repeat the above steps.
