NI GPIB-Serial Converter Installation guide
Check the Hardware Configuration
The GPIB-RS232/485/422 is shipped with a 100–240 VAC
wall-mount or desktop power supply. If you plan to use a different
power source to power your GPIB-RS232/485/422, verify that the
voltage marked on that power supply matches the input voltage
marked on your GPIB-RS232/485/422.
Caution
Do not operate your GPIB-RS232/485/422 at
any voltage other than that labelled on the unit. Doing so
could damage the unit.
The GPIB-RS232/485/422 ships with the following factory default
power-on settings:

D Mode
•
8 data bits/character
•
1 stop bit/character
•
Parity disabled
•
Serial port configured to 9600 baud
•
Hardware flow control
•
GPIB primary address 5
