To create a virtual channel, or to learn about other capabilities of MAX,
read the MAX online help by selecting
Help»Help Topics
and select
NI-DAQ
from the menu.
In Mac OS
To view and test current resource allocation:
1.
Open the NI-DAQ Configuration Utility.
2.
Select the device you want to configure.
3.
Click the
Configure
button.
4.
Press the
Test Resources
button to test hardware resources.
Warning
Do
not
configure the 653
X
resources in conflict with non-National Instruments
devices. For example, do
not
configure two devices to have the same base address.
Note
The PCI/PXI-7030/6533 configuration is similar to PCI/PXI-653
X
configuration
with a few exceptions. Refer to your
PCI/PXI-7030
an
d LabVIEW RT User Manual
for
specific configuration details.
Note
If you are using the AT-DIO-32HS device in a non-Plug and Play system, the device
automatically configures to a switchless DAQ device so it can work in the system.
Now that you have completed configuring your device, you can begin
setting up the device for use.
