external digital triggering.
Alternately, you can trigger the NI 447

from any other NI device that has
the RTSI bus feature. You can programmatically route any RTSI/TRIG line
to the NI 447

except RTSI 5/TRIG 5, which is reserved for internal use
when synchronizing multiple NI 447
X
devices.
Note
A PXI chassis with multiple PXI buses might not have RTSI connections across the
bus boundaries.
