When connecting only the MDR connector to the terminal block, all DSUB signals on the
terminal block are no connects (NC). The following figure shows the 37-pin terminal block
pinout when connecting only the MDR connector.

Step 5: Connect Power to the P7000 Drive
Connect either AC or DC input power to your P7000 series stepper drive. If you are using the
P70360 drive, connect AC power as shown in Figure 10. Refer to Table 12 for AC power
connector pin descriptions. If you are using the P70530 drive, connect DC power as shown in
Figure 11. Refer to Table 13 for DC power connector pin descriptions.

Caution
Do
not
use J7 as an on/off switch. Hot plugging damages the connector.
