4. Select which IP addresses are to have access to the FTP server. Mark
“Allow for all” if you wish to permit connections no matter which IP address
the connection is made from.
5. Click on
“Complete” to exit the guide.
How do I connect to the unit via the Internet?

If the unit you are using is directly connected to the Internet and uses a
public IP address:
1. Activate the unit’s FTP function by going to “
Control Panel” >
“File and Print” and then select “File Server”. Mark “Enable”
under the “
FTP Server Setting” and select the desired port
(default: 1).
. Create a user and select the user’s level of access (read only or
writable).
. Enter the unit’s IP address in the FTP program and choose to
connect to the unit. Enter user name and password.

If the unit is being used on a network using a router:
1. The router must be configured to permit traffic to and from the
unit. The same port as mentioned above must be used. Read
the router’s instruction manual.
