2. Press the plug with the locking bush into the connection until the plug
lock is engaged.
3. Place the N connector plug of the handle on the N connector of the basic
unit
(2) and screw down carefully the union nut and without tilting.
NOTE: Make sure that the cable does not turn while screwing. Otherwise, the elec-
trical properties of the high-quality coaxial cable could be impaired by torsio-
nal forces.
If you notice resistance while tightening, the union nut must be replaced.
Approx. 4 rotations are necessary to create a tight connection.
Unscrewing the plug:
1.
Unscrew the union nut (2) at the N connection
2. Pull the control cable connector (1) on the ribbed plug head backwards
until the lock disengages.
5.1.1 Connect the Narda directional antenna with the
handle
Narda directional antennas can be connected to the handle in any position
and rotated by 90 degrees. This allows the user to quickly and easily rotate
the polarization level of the antenna.

Attach the antenna to the handle until the connection clicks into place.

To release the antenna, press the two release buttons and remove the
antenna.
NOTE: The device automatically detects the connected antenna. This is displayed
on the screen in the block for general device configuration while the device
is switched on. If the antenna is not recognized, it is probably not configura-
ted, which is necessary for the operation. The configuration data of the
antenna can be loaded into the device using removable media (e. g. USB
stick) or the PC software.
