SYMPTOM PROBLEM TEST SOLUTION
Pilot lights. No
gas fl ow. Valve is not functioning
properly. - Valve is on pilot fl ow. Turn to to the high setting,
doudle click the large fl ame button on the remote.
- Replace valve. Do not overtighen the thermocouple.
Manual override knob is
in the “MAN” position. - Turn the knob to the “ON” position.
Remote is not
functioning. Receiver has low battery. - Replace batteries.
Remote has low battery. - Replace batteries (4 AA batteries).
Error with synchronizing
receiver and remote. - Reset receiver and remote.
Remote is too far away
from receiver. - Refer to “WIRING DIAGRAM“ section.
Receiver is not
functioning
properly. Low / Dead battery. Replace batteries (receiver and/or remote).
Receiver not
communicating properly. - Hold reset button on the receiver and wait for 2
beeps. Release after second beep. Press the small
fl ame button on the remote within 20 seconds, you
will hear an additional beep (this signals that the
receiver has been successfully reset).
Wire connector pins are
bent. - Straighten pins.
Valve wiring is damaged. - Replace valve.
Motor is turning,
frequent beeping
occurs. Reciever batteries are
low. - Replace batteries.
