3. Installation
Bed Watcher device is designed for secure floor, shelf, wall or ceiling mounted using the rack with
rotating bracket shown on Figure 2 which is optionally supplied with the device. The rack can be fastened
with 4 screws to the ceiling or wall. Then, the Bed Watcher may be inserted into or extracted from the
bracket using the frame on its bottom.

4. Interfaces and Connectors
The Bed Watcher has limited number of electrical connectors which makes it simple placing the device in
the network. All electrical connectors are located on the top and bottom sides of the device. Thus,
USB 2.0 type-B socket is located on the top side of the device as shown on Figure 3.

Pin assignment of the USB 2.0 type-B socket is compliant with USB protocol:
1 - Power +5V
2 - Data-
3 - Data+
4 - Ground
USB 2.0 type-B socket is used for firmware update only. Please read section 7 of this User's Guide for
details about updating the firmware.
