BRUSHCUTTER OPERATION
• To stop the machine, the switch must be in the STOP position.
• When mowing, comply with specific national and local regulations.
• Do not mow during generally accepted rest periods.
• All hard objects - stones, metal parts, etc. - must be removed. They could be thrown and cause personal injury or material damage.
• When working in tall shrubs or bushes, the minimum working height should be 15 cm to avoid endangering small animals.
Mowing grass
When working on lawns, hold the brushcutter at an angle of about 30° and make semicircular turns to the left and right.
The best results are achieved with grass up to 15 cm high. If the grass is higher, it is recommended to repeat the mowing several times.
WARNING! Never place the mowing head on the ground when the machine is running.
If the mowing performance decreases:
1) Hold the running machine over the grass and tap the ground several times with the mowing head to lengthen the nylon cutting line.
2) The blade in the protective cover will cut the line to the required length.
CAUTION! Nylon line fragments may be ejected and cause injury.
• If the machine is vibrating, clean it or, if necessary, remove the grass that is stuck to the mowing head and guard.
• Hold the machine firmly and securely with both hands.
• Only cut grass and weeds, low bushes can be cut with a thick blade.
• Take care not to endanger anyone while mowing. Work quietly and considerately. Ensure the safety of others.
• Only work when there is sufficient visibility and light.
• Be aware of the cutting head.
• Never mow/cut above shoulder height.
• Never replace the nylon cord with steel wire - risk of injury and destruction.
• Never work standing on a ladder.
• Work on a solid and stable surface.
• Use the machine only after carefully reading the instruction manual. Follow all the safety instructions in the manual.
MAINTENANCE
Good maintenance is essential for safe, economical and trouble-free operation. It also helps to reduce pollution.
DANGER! Improper maintenance or failure to correct a problem prior to operation may result in a malfunction that could cause serious personal
injury or death. Always follow the inspection and maintenance recommendations and schedules in this owner’s manual.
To help you maintain your equipment properly, the following pages contain a maintenance schedule, routine inspection procedures and simple maintenance
procedures using basic hand tools. Other service tasks that are more difficult or require special tools are best left to professionals and are usually carried out
by an authorised service center or other qualified mechanic.
WARNING!
• Make sure that the engine is stopped and cool before servicing the machine. Contact with the moving cutting head or hot muffler can result
in personal injury.
• Read the instructions before starting and make sure you have the necessary tools and skills.
• To reduce the risk of fire or explosion, use caution when working around gasoline. Use only a non-flammable solvent, not gasoline, to clean
parts. Keep cigarettes, sparks and flames away from all fuel-related parts.
