General Safety Warnings

Safety precautions must be
observed to reduce the risk of

this appliance. If the information in
this manual is not followed, a fire

cause death, serious injury or

CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD!
This appliance can produce
carbon monoxide which has no
odour. Using it in an enclosed
space (for example, caravan, tent,
boat or car may cause death.
Hot water can scald: always check
the water temperature before
using this product water from the

Propane Gas is extremely
flammable. Keep clear of naked
flames. Do not smoke near the gas
container or the water heater.

Do not use the product if it is leaking,
damaged or it does not operate properly.

This appliance shall only be used with the
Australian approved 1200mm propane gas
hose & regulator assembly supplied with the
appliance and must be connected only to a
propane gas cylinder certified to AS2469
standards fitted with POL connections only.

It may be hazardous to attempt to fit other
types of gas containers.
−
This appliance is to be stored in a dry & well-
ventilated location free from direct sunlight.

Do not store when still connected to the
cylinder. Make sure that the cylinder is
disconnected and is stored in a well-
ventilated area, free from direct sunlight, heat
and ignition sources.

This appliance must only be serviced or
repaired by an authorised service agent.
−
This appliance is not intended for the supply
of drinking water. This appliance is intended
for the supply of heated water for the purpose
of washing and cleaning only.

Check and confirm safe water temperature
before using this appliance. Water from this
appliance may be very hot.

This appliance must be protected from rain at
all times.
−
This appliance is designed for outdoor use
only.
−
Use only in well ventilated areas.
−
Accessible parts may be very hot, keep
young children away.

Do not use adaptors or modify the appliance
to fit other connectors or cylinders.

Never leave children unsupervised near this
product.

Never leave appliance unattended when
operating.

Do not use as a cooking appliance or modify

The appliance must only be used outdoors
and is to be operated no closer than 500mm
from the sides and 1000mm from above to all
combustible surfaces, fabrics, flammable
materials & people.

During operation ensure that both air inlets
and the top exhaust are kept free from
obstructions and closure.

This appliance is designed to be hung upright
against a non-combustible vertical surface.
Do not operate from a non-upright position.
Doing so can be dangerous and will damage
the appliance.

Do not expose yourself or others to danger.

Do not permit others to use this product
unless they have read this manual and are
trained in its operation.

Do not operate if the water heater is damaged
or in an excessively worn state.

Do not use the unit if it is damaged or poorly
adjusted. Never remove the water heater’s
coverings. Serious injury to the operator or
bystanders could result as well as damage to
the water heater.

Do not use this unit for any purpose other
than those for which it is intended as
described in this manual.

Do not operate the water heater in the rain or
under wet conditions.

Always ensure all handles and guards are
fitted when using the water heater.

Always keep the water heater away from
naked flame or sparks.

Always disconnect the gas and water supply
when moving between areas and when
transporting or storing the water heater.

This product is only to be used with approved
gas hoses and regulators and must be
connected to a certified Propane gas cylinder
with AS2469 standard fittings.
−
Keep all flammable material and liquids away
from the appliance.
