Notes on proper battery use
•
The battery in this device may be charged using the USB socket. It is, however, not recommended due to the
low voltage offered by the USB port and even if the battery is connected, it may be eventually discharged. If
you want to charge the battery using USB, turn off the phone. If the battery is low, charge it to continue using
the phone. If you want to prolong the battery life, let it discharge below 20% of full level and then fully
recharge.
•
If you are not using the adapter, unplug it from the phone. Overcharging leads to shortened battery life.
The battery temperature influences charging quality. Before the charging process is initiated, the battery may
be cooled or heated to reach the temperature close to room temperature. If the battery temperature exceeds
40 degrees, the battery cannot be charged!
Do not use a damaged battery!
The battery life can be shortened when it is exposed to very low or very high temperatures; it leads
to device malfunctions even if the battery was properly charged.
Device maintenance
To prolong the device life:
Store the device and its accessories beyond the reach of small children.
Avoid contact with liquids; it may lead to damage of electronic parts.
Avoid very high temperatures; it may shorten the life of electronic components, melt plastic parts or destroy
the battery.
