Push the child restraint tight against the vehicle seat, and adjust the seat recline ensuring
there is no space between the back of the child restraint and the vehicle seat. The child
restraint is now fitted and you can go to “Placing a child in the child restraint (groups 2-3
[15-36kg])”.

Placing a child in the child restraint (groups 2-3 [15-36kg])
Position your child in the child
restraint and place the shoulder
belt through the red shoulder belt
guide (J). The shoulder belt should
pass over your child’s shoulder and
should not be against their neck. If
necessary adjust the headrest up
or down so that the shoulder belt
passes over your child’s shoulder
correctly.
Place the lap belt over your child’s
lap and fasten the seatbelt ensuring
the lap belt is routed through both
lap guides (i)(ii) and the shoulder
belt passes through the lap guide
nearest the buckle (ii).
Remove all slack from both the lap
and diagonal sections of seatbelt.
WARNING: The child restraint should
always be either strapped in using
the vehicle’s 3-point seatbelt or
locked in place using the ISOFIX
and top tether system, whether a
child is seated in the child restraint
or not.
