Transporting the printer 123

When transporting this printer, it is necessary to empty the waste ink tank. and fixate the print head and the table with
packaging material. If transported without these steps, it can cause ink leakage and damage to the print head.

To use the printer again, reinstall the printer and perform initial charging.

Transporting the printer

Discharging the ink in the printer and waste ink

Press the [Menu] key.

• Press the [ - ] key until “Menu 3: Maintenance >” appears.

• Press the [>] key.

• Press the [ - ] key until “Mnt.5: Ink Discharge” appears.

• Press the [Enter] key.

Press the [Enter] key.

When the message on the left appears, transfer the waste fluid into a
container.
