104 Replacing ink

When ink level becomes low, the error LED of the operation panel flashes and a buzzer sounds.

Also, [Ink End] is displayed on the operation panel. Promptly replace the ink.

If the ink is not replaced within a certain period after [Ink End] is displayed on the operation panel, printing temporarily stops.

In this case, replace the ink with new ink to restart printing.

Replacing ink

Important!

• Do not replace ink cartridge when the power of this product is OFF.

Ink level cannot be detected correctly.

• If ink cartridge is moved from cold to warm place, leave it at least 3 hours.

･ If you do not have any replacement ink, do not remove the empty ink pack or high-capacity pack adapter from the printer.

Leaving them removed could cause the print head to become clogged.

Removing the high-capacity pack adapter

Note

The High-capacity pack adapter is sold separately.

• The buzzer stops.

• In the figure to the left, the M2 and Y2 inks must be replaced.

Remove the high-capacity pack adapter to be replaced.

Lower the lock lever on the high-capacity pack adapter and remove

the empty ink pack.

Remove the smart chip card from the high-capacity pack adapter.
