This user manual is based on the quick install guide that comes with your NAS.
Configure your NAS according to the quick install guide, before you start with the extended
configuration.
To keep the initial setup simple, all additional network and hosting services are activated by
default and ready to use. Manual configuration is not mandatory. However you can reduce
power consumption and processor load by disabling unused services.
On the following pages of this manual you will find information and configuration details for
all additional features of your NAS. Due to new firmware releases for your NAS there may be
slight changes to feature names or their descriptions. If you have any questions regarding
the configuration of your NAS, please contact us at [email protected]
NOTE: Deactivate all popup blockers when configuring your NAS. Only the “admin” account
has access to the configuration web interface. All other users will be forwarded to a site with
reduced functionality. Users can only change their password and start the Ajaxplorer
(if active).
