INSTRUCTION MANUAL:
Safety:
• Allow the fan to cool sufficiently before moving, and only hold it by the carry handle on the top of the
unit. The fan surface, especially the base, will become hot during use.
• Do not place the fan on any unprotected surface whilst it is hot.
• Children must always be supervised around the stove and stove fan. Do not allow children to touch or
play with the fan.
• Do not use if the surface temperature of your stove exceeds 345 °C. This can cause damage to the
components of the fan.
Instructions:
• Starts automatically when the stove temperature has risen to 60 °C. The fan sets the speed according
to the stove temperature; ideal operating temperature approx. 200 °C.
• For best results, the fan should be positioned at the rear of the stove top, facing forward.
Do not place directly in front of the stove flue or at the front of the stove.
• The fan does not require any additional power source. The fan is powered by the heat generated from
the stove top.
• The base of the fan includes a heat-sensitive spring that tilts the fan backwards slightly. The tilt will increase
in line with the stove temperature.
• A small tilt of around 2 mm is normal. A large tilt of over 5 mm indicates that your stove is too hot and the fan
should be removed by the carry handle.
• Clean with a soft damp cloth. Ensure that the fan has cooled down before cleaning.
Warning
• Hot base – hold by the handle.
• Do not use the stove fan if the stove surface temperature exceeds 345 °C.
