INFORMATION

Le gaz carbonique (CO

2

) utilisé pour gonfler le V.F.I. s’échappera

lentement par les fibres du tissu au fil du temps. On pourra observer
une légère pression après plusieurs heures de gonflage et on devra
peut-être ajouter un peu d’air par la bouche s’il y a immersion
prolongée dans l’eau.

Gonflage Buccal

Un V.F.I. gonflable qui
a été bien armé et
vérifié correctement
se gonfle lorsqu’il est
activé manuellement
ou automatiquement.
Cependant, si le V.F.I.
gonflable ne se gonfle pas
ou s’il ne s’agit pas d’une
urgence, vous êtes quand
même en mesure de le
gonfler complètement par la
bouche (ill. 10). Pour bien
gonfler votre V.F.I. par la bouche, il vous faut tout d’abord localiser
le tube de gonflage buccal en ouvrant le panneau qui se trouve en
avant, sur le côté gauche du V.F.I. gonflable. Enlever le capuchon
anti-poussière qui se trouve à l’extrémité du tube buccal et
souffler dans le tube, jusqu’à ce que votre V.F.I. gonflable soit
entièrement gonflé.

Placez le capuchon du gonfleur oral en position rangée (ill. 12)
