Preliminaries

NOTE:

For P655 Alignment Jig details, refer to Section 5, Annexe C.

18.

Prior to alignment, carry out the following procedure:

a) Remove the antenna and case back. Fit a fully-charged battery pack. It may be

advantageous to fit a modified case back (see Section 5, Annexe C for details) to
provide extra support for the battery pack.

b) Press the

key and hold down

for three seconds to switch off the transceiver.

Insert the transceiver into the P665.

c) Connect the audio connector lead to SK301.

Receiver Alignment

19.

The Receiver alignment procedure is as follows:

a) Connect the test equipment to the P665 as shown in Figure 13.
