Example:
Setting up Video Grabber to emulate a specific monitor.
1.
Connect the Video Grabber between the computer and the monitor that is to be emulated
See 3.2, p. 8.
2.
Open Video Grabber’s web interface.
See 4, p. 13.
3.
Open Preview & Configuration page and provide login details.
4.
Click Read EDID data button at the bottom of the page.
See 4.3.3, p. 47.
5.
Disconnect Monitor from the Video Grabber.
6.
Set the Monitor emulation to DP and check the Custom EDID checkbox
See 4.3.2, p. 46.
7.
Click Save settings button.

EDID
In the EDID section user can perform EDID related actions using the available buttons.

from DDC
EDID data will be read from the DDC provided by the monitor and saved
on the Video Grabber

Download EDID
data
EDID data will be downloaded from the Video Grabber and saved as a
file in a chosen location. Such file can then be uploaded to the different
Video Grabber.
This option is only working if Video Grabber has non-default EDID data

Drop EDID data
Resets the EDID data to the default settings
