SAFETY INFORMATION
TRANSPORTING SAFETY
CAUTION
NEVER allow any person or animal to stand underneath
the equipment while lifting.
NOTICE
Before lifting, make sure that the equipment parts are not
damaged and screws are not loose or missing.
Always secure the articulation locking latch prior to lifting
the machine.
Use lifting equipment capable of lifting the weight of
the roller.
Always make sure crane or lifting device has been
properly secured to the lifting bail (hook) of the
equipment.
ALWAYS
shutdown engine before transporting.
NEVER
lift the equipment while the engine is running.
Tighten fuel tank cap until audible click and securely
close fuel cock to prevent fuel from spilling.
Use adequate lifting cable (wire or nylon rope) of
suffi cient strength.
Use one point suspension hook and lift straight upwards
with suffi cient bearing capacity to prevent machine from
tilting or slipping.
DO NOT
lift machine to unnecessary heights.
ALWAYS
make sure that roller is secured correctly when
transporting on a trailer. Make sure all supports attaching
the roller to the trailer are tight.
ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY
NOTICE
Dispose of hazardous waste properly.
Examples of potentially hazardous waste
are used motor oil, fuel and fuel fi lters.
DO NOT
use food or plastic containers to dispose of
hazardous waste.
DO NOT
pour waste, oil or fuel directly onto the ground,
down a drain or into any water source.
EMISSIONS INFORMATION
NOTICE
This equipment conforms with applicable Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources
Board (CARB) emission regulations.
The gasoline engine used in this equipment has been
designed to reduce harmful levels of carbon monoxide
(CO), hydrocarbons (HC) and nitrogen oxides (NOx)
contained in gasoline exhaust emissions.
Mandated Emission Components:
Honda GX630 engine, EPA certifi ed
Fuel cap, EPA certifi ed
Fuel and vapor recovery hoses, EPA certifi ed SAE J30R7
or SAE J30R14T2
Charcoal canister, EPA certifi ed
Miscellaneous Parts Associated with Emission System:
Hose clamps and retainer brackets
Roll over valve vapor recovery valve
Steel fuel tank
Tampering with or altering the emission control system may
increase emissions beyond the legal limit. Do not remove
or alter any part of the system.
Additionally, modifying the fuel system may adversely affect
evaporative emissions, resulting in fi nes or other penalties.
The Emission control system is valid only for the United
States, its territories and commonwealths to include
Canada.
Emission Control Label
The emission control label is an integral part of the emission
system and is strictly controlled by regulation(s).
The label must remain with the engine for its entire life.
If a replacement emission label is needed, please contact
your authorized Honda Engine Distributor.
