The water resistance of your watch
The water resistance of your watch has been inspected
according to German DIN standard 8310 at the
overpressure indicated on the case back. Prior to use in
water, check whether the crown is in Position 0 , i.e.
screwed into the winding stem of the case until hand-
tight! Only then is the water resistance of the watch
preserved.
Attention!
The water resistance ratings apply to
brand-new watches. Over time, the water resistance
of a particular watch may become impaired due to
shocks and knocks, in case of chemical reactions due
to petrol, adhesive, paint, cleaning spray etc., as well
as frequent turning of the crown (abrasion).
