Set the date by turning the crown in the direction of
6 o'clock until the current date is displayed. If there
is a weekday display, it is set by turning the crown
in the direction of 12 o'clock.
Pull the crown into Position 3 . (The second hand
stops and enables a precise setting down to the
second. Pull the crown once the second hand has
reached the index at 60 seconds or 12 o'clock. This
enables the minute hand to be set precisely to an
index.)
Depending upon the 12-hour interval, now the
current time can be set (in doing so, for afternoons,
the hour hand must be adjusted once beyond
12 o'clock). To adjust this setting, turn the hand
clockwise until the current time is indicated.
Press the crown into Position 1 and screw the
crown back into the case until hand-tight (also see
page 23).
