The second function of the city ring is the world time
function.
Turn the city ring with the crown at 2:00 o'clock until
the city name of the time zone, whose time the
GMT hand is displaying, is synchronized with the
GMT hand. The triangular marking belonging to the
respective city name is aligned to the full hour (at
9:10 AM this is set to the 9 of the 24-hour scale).
On the inner 24-hour scale, the hours of the time for
the remaining 23 time zones can then be read.
Please notice:
The time difference between the 24 time zones
specified by the city ring does refer to the normal time and can
not take into account any deviations between countries that
switch to summer time or maintain normal time. As long as the
summer time is in effect, between London and Moscow, for
example, a time difference of +2 hours (normal time +3 hours)
exists.
