Removing dosing unit
Note:
Shutoff devices for the urea solution lines
must be available on the plant side.
1.
Shut off supply and return line from pre-feed
module to tank.
2.
Remove connector (2) from dosing unit.
3.
Remove urea solution supply line (6) and re-
turn line (5).
4.
Remove screws (1, 3, 4).
5.
Remove dosing unit.
Installing dosing unit
1.
Turn the dosing unit slightly to press the
graphite ring seal flat.
2.
Insert dosing unit in opening of insulation
paneling.
3.
Secure dosing unit with screw (4).
4.
Then thread in screw (1) and finally the upper
screw (3).
5.
Coat screws (1, 3, 4) with assembly com-
pound.
6.
Use a torque wrench to tighten screws (1, 3, 4) to specified tightening torque.

7.
Install connector (2) on dosing unit.
8.
Remove transport closures from urea solution connections.
9.
Install urea solution supply line (6) and return line (5).
10.
Shut off supply and return line from pre-feed module to tank prior to engine start.
11.
Reset dosing cycle counter with DiaSys® (→ dialog system DiaSys® E531920/..). If no DiaSys® is available,
contact Service.
