Preconditions

Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

Checking EIM plug connections

1.

Check both Tyco plugs (62-pole) (2) on EIM
for firm seating. Ensure that clips (3) are
engaged.

2.

Check screws (1) of cable clamps on EIM
for firm seating. Ensure that cable clamps
are not faulty.
