8.25.1 LOP and connectors – Cleaning

Preconditions

Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

Cleaning LOP

1.

Wipe LCD display with dry cloth, without applying excessive pressure.

2.

Remove dirt from keys using isopropyl alcohol.

3.

Remove heavy soiling from housing surface with isopropyl alcohol.

Cleaning connectors on LOP

1.

Remove dirt from connector and socket surfaces using isopropyl alcohol.

2.

Check legibility of cable labels. Clean or replace illegible labels.
