Locomotive Light Bulb Replacement
To replace the light bulb in the cab of the locomotive and in the lantern on the
front of the boiler, follow these instructions and see the diagrams below:
Remove the locomotive boiler from its chassis as shown in Figure 3 . Once the
body has been removed, remove the screw holding the cab to the boiler as seen
in Figure 8. To replace the bulb, remove the bracket holding the interior light
bulb. Gently but firmly pull bulb from the rubber grommet. Replace the light
and reassemble.
To replace the light in the lantern on the front of the engine, first remove the
boiler from its chassis, remove the smoke unit, (refer to pg. 14 for directions)
unplug the wire from its harness, (as seen in Fig. 9), and pull the wires from
the lantern casing. Replace the light and reassemble.
Remove this screw to remove the cab from the boiler
Remove the light by pulling it through the grommet,
disconnecting the wire and replacing
