Instructions for Use
1. Parts
The product consists of a Sciaticalm unit, leg and back straps and
one AAA battery.
2. Preparation for use
The unit requires 1 x AAA battery (included).
Before use, unscrew the battery cover cap and if fitted remove
the insulation tab and any packaging from the battery. Re-screw
the battery cover cap tightly.
Always insert the battery
carefully, taking care to
insert in the correct
orientation. Inside the battery
compartment the terminals are
identified with a ‘+’ and ‘-’.
4. Fitting the unit
Thread the strap through the slot
with the fibrous side facing the
battery compartment.
Slide the unit the length of the
strap and secure under the tab.
Place the unit on the point of pain
and loop the end of the strap
through the black end buckle.
Use the longer strap for positioning
on the lower back or lumbar
region. The unit can be rotated to
point downwards if necessary.
Use the shorter strap for positioning
on the back of the leg behind the
knee. The unit can now be operated
by pressing the start/stop button.

3. Using the unit
In order to optimise the performance of the device, the nozzle on
the lower side needs to be placed over the sciatic nerve using one
of the straps provided. This can be either on the lower back or leg.
It may be necessary to move the device to find the optimum
position for pain relief.
The strap is then secured in order to hold the device in place while
not restricting the blood flow by ‘over-tightening’.
The start/stop button on the battery cover is then depressed in
order to activate the unit. The Sciaticalm unit can be stopped or
started manually at any time by depressing the start/stop button.
Do not exceed a 10 minute cycle each time you use the device.
It is recommended that the Sciaticalm unit is used for 30 minutes
each day, in separate 10 minute treatments. You can use the
device for less than 3 cycles per day, or for a shorter time. Use the
device for 3-4 weeks for maximum benefit.
