INSTALLATION
Installing the Alarm Module
1
Use four screws to secure alarm module(s) to the display cabinet or other mounting location.
Note: Ensure alarm module is mounted where it is not accessible to the shoppers.
2
Install an alarm sounder; then connect wires from alarm to the
ALARM
terminal strips on the alarm module.
Note: Install alarm sounder outside cabinet where it can be heard, but not easily seen by customers.
3
Install keyswitch; then connect wires to the
KEYSWITCH
terminal strips.
4
Plug sensor cable(s) into the Position jacks on the module.
Note: Connect cables in sequence, starting with position 1. For example, if you are using four cables, connect them to positions
1, 2, 3, 4 on the alarm module.
5
If you are daisy-chaining several alarm modules to share a central alarm and keyswitch, connect wires between the white
ALARM
and
KEYSWITCH
terminal strips on each module. You only need to connect one of the modules to the alarm and
keyswitch.
6
Plug a system power supply into the power input jack.
Note: If you are daisy-chaining several alarm modules to share a common power supply, connect wires between the white
power connectors on each module. You only need to connect one of the modules to the power supply.
7
Connect the power supply to a suitable AC power source (preferably a power strip in the cabinet).

connect to the negative (-) terminals.
Tip!
For ease of install,
remove the terminal
block from the alarm
module before making the
connections; then reinstall
the block once connections
are made.
