INSTALLATION OF THE BLUE ALERT

Using the

non slip
rubber pads
(A)
The rubber pads (= non slip) will help preventing the Blue Alert from slipping on the dashboard.
Using the

Velcro strips
(B)
The Blue Alert needs to be mounted on the dashboard (see Illustration V).
Installation tips:
Make sure the dashboard is clean and free of dust or grease before sticking the Velcro strips!
•
Make sure the unit is clean and free of dust or grease before placing the non slip parts.
•
For optimal performance, the microphone should be located at a maximum distance of 50 cm from the driver’s mouth.
•
The LED-screen with built-in microphone should be directed to the driver.
•
The Blue Alert needs to be mounted horizontally on top of the dashboard.
•
The device should be able to look up and ‘see’ the sky to make sure the built-in GPS receiver can easily catch the satellites.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
The Blue Alert comes with a rechargeable battery. Open the battery compartment cover and place the battery (See illustration III).
Make sure that the Blue Alert is fully charged before using the device!
Important!
Only use the original chargers included in the packaging to avoid damages.
The Blue Alert offers 2 charging options:
1. Via the USB cable: connected to your computer
2. Via the car charger: connected to the cigarette lighter
