Adding Water and Ground Coffee
1)
Swing open the filter basket and, if desired,
lift out the removable filter insert.
2)
Place a MR. COFFEE
®
brand 8-12 cup paper
filter or a MR. COFFEE
®
permanent filter
in the filter basket.
If using paper filters, it is important
that the sides of the filter fit flush
against the sides of the filter basket.
If filter collapse occurs, for best
results, dampen the filter before
placing it in the brew basket and
adding ground coffee.

One cup = Five ounces brewed coffee
Note: The amount of brewed coffee after the brewing process will always be slightly less
than the amount of water placed into the coffeemaker. Since some water is absorbed by
the coffee grounds and filter. Add a little extra water at the beginning so that you have
the exact number of cups desired or you can remove the water reservoir from the
coffeemaker to fill with cool water.
