be restarted again right away to make more ice cubes. If you do not remove the ice cubes in
time, they will ultimately melt and the water will flow back to the water tank.
5.
If the water tank (5) is empty, the ADD WATER (4c) indicator will start flashing and there will
be a series of short beeps. Unplug the ice cube maker from the mains and add water. Once
the water is in the tank, you can restart the ice cube maker.
CAUTION! The first symptom that the ice cube maker may require more water is the decreasing volume of each
ice cube. This depends on a number of factors.
6.
To stop making ice cubes, press the ON/OFF switch (4a). The WORK indicator (4b) will start
flashing; the ice cube maker stopped running and is ready to resume. Unplug the ice cube
maker from the mains.
7.
If you do not need to use the ice cube maker in the next few hours, remove the unused wa-
ter. Place a suitable container under the water drain plug (9), and remove the plug with the
rubber seal. When the water stops flowing out, place the rubber seal back in and tighten the
water drain plug.
CAUTION! Add and drain water only with the power cord unplugged from the mains!
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION! Before cleaning or maintenance, turn off and unplug the ice cube maker from the mains. Leave it
to cool down (this does not apply to the self-cleaning mode). Clean the ice cube maker directly after each use.
1.
Do not clean with sharp tools or aggressive cleaning agents.
2.
Clean the housing and the interior with a soft, damp cloth; next, wipe them dry.
3.
Wash the ice cube scoop in water with soap or a dishwasher, then rinse it clean and wipe dry
with a clean cloth.
4.
Periodically remove the grime and scale as follows:
- Add equal parts of water and vinegar (1:1) to the water tank.
- Plug the ice cube maker to the mains. When it is in standby, press and hold the ON/OFF
switch (4a) for at least 5 seconds to start the self-cleaning mode. The mode will start
with a beep and the indicators (4c) and (4d) turned on. The self-cleaning mode starts
the pump to take the water and vinegar solution from the water tank (5), feed it to all
components in the water cycle and return it back to the water tank. This cycle will be
repeated 5 times. When the self-cleaning mode ends, the ice cube maker will automat-
ically switch to standby.
- Now, remove the water and vinegar solution via the water drain plug (9), add clean
water to the water tank (5) up to the max water level, and start the self-cleaning mode
again.
- When done, drain the water from the ice cube maker and leave the lid open until the
ice cube maker is dry.
5.
Keep the ice cube maker in a dry and clean place. If you will not use ice cube maker for a long
time, keep it in its original box.
6.
Periodically check the appliance for possible damage.
