Getting Started
Installing a Secure Digital (SD) Memory Card
The EM-1220 Development Kit has an internal SD socket for storage expansion. To access this
socket, perform the following steps to install the SD memory card.
Step 1:
Locate the SD socket.
Step 2:
Insert the SD card into the socket. Make sure the card is situated correctly.
Step 3:
Push the SD card inward.
Step 4:
Before using the SD card, check the /etc/rc file to ensure that the driver module for the SD
card control is loaded. The loading sequence should be as follows:
insmod /lib/modules/2.6.9-MoXaRt/kernel/drivers/mmc/mmc_core.ko
insmod /lib/modules/2.6.9-MoXaRt/kernel/drivers/mmc/mmc_block.ko
insmod /lib/modules/2.6.9-MoXaRt/kernel/drivers/mmc/moxasd.ko
Step 5:
To remove the SD memory card, first press the card in. The card will pop out part of the
way, after which you can pull it out directly.
