1. Which PS/2 port should be used to connect MouseCaster to my
computer?
My computer has 2 PS/2 ports. Which port should I use to connect MouseCaster,
and which port should be used to connect the keyboard?
On most computers you can connect to any of these ports. However, it is recommended to
connect MouseCaster to the mouse port—the one marked with a mouse symbol. Today, it is
customary to mark different ports using colors or special symbols, for easy identification of
each port. For example:
Mouse port
—green, with a mouse symbol
Keyboard port
—purple, with keyboard symbol
2. Which sound card connection should I use to connect the radio plug?

Most computer sound cards have the following ports:
•
External speakers OUT (FRONT)
•
Rear Speakers OUT (REAR)—this is an option not available on all sound cards.
•

•
It is customary to mark each port with a different color or symbol for

OUT
—light green symbol—outward arrow or headphones
•
Microphone
—pink symbol—microphone
