8. MAINTENANCE
WARNING
To avoid electrical shock, disconnect the test leads and any input signals before
replacing the battery. Replace only with the same type of battery.
WARNING
Qualified person should only perform repairs or servicing not covered in this
manual.
8.1 CLEANING
Periodically wipe the case with a damp cloth and mild detergent; do not use
abrasives or solvents. If the Multimeter is not in use for periods of longer than
60 days, remove the batteries and store them separately.
8.2 BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Multimeter is powered by 9 V battery. When the Multimeter displays the “LO
BAT” symbol, the battery should be replaced to maintain proper operation. To
replace the battery, remove the battery cover, ensure refixing of friction pads.

If Fuse is blown then send the meter back to the factory.
