21. TROUBLESHOOTING

ner’s Card).

Use a registered TAG.
MECHANICAL STICKING OF LOCK
Door is not completely closed and bol-
ts cannot do entire stroke; possible ob-
struction to travel of switchlocks bar.
Close the door completely.
Check if there are any obstructions on the
striker plate and/or bar plates.
Motor has exceeded maximum drive time
because bolts are not in correct position
or because motor drive mechanism is not
perfectly engaged after manual operation
with cylinder.
Open/Close the lock completely (manually
with cylinder).
Message <POS> at top means that lock, at
start of operation, is not in correct position
for recognition by system following (for
example) an incomplete manual operation
with the cylinder.
Open/Close the lock completely (manually
with cylinder).
Spring latch stayed ractioned at end of an
operation and is not in correct position.
Message may end earlier if spring latch re-
turns to its correct position.
With door open, manually check smooth
movement of spring latch.
With door closed, press door lightly near
spring latch then check position or pressu-
re on striker plate.
Attempted operation with door open (also
applies to automatic closing).
Close door.
