Disassembly

V600

Removing and Replacing the Speaker Assembly

1.

Remove the battery cover, battery, SIM, and flip cover as described in the
procedures.

2.

Lift the snubber away from the bottom of the LCD display assembly. Set the
snubber aside for re-use.

3.

Use the disassembly tool to release the latch on each side of the flip housing
that secures the LCD assembly.

4.

Very carefully, lift the top end of the LCD assembly out of the flip assembly.
Be careful not to damage the any of the flex cables on the LCD assembly.

5.

Disconnect the flex connector near the flip assembly hinge and lift the LCD
assembly completely out of the flip housing.

6.

To replace, align the speaker assembly to the flip housing.

7.

Press the speaker assembly into the flip assembly.

8.

Gently press the spaker elastomer into position over the speaker assembly
contacts.

9.

Replace the flip assembly cover, SIM, battery, and battery cover as described
in the procedures.
