Messages—Text

Memory is low

A new message fills
your phone’s memory
to 85% of its capacity.

Run an overall message center
cleanup. See “Message Center
Cleanup” on page 80.

If your memory is still full, the

(text message) icon flashes at the top
of your idle display. To check your
message memory, see “Message
Center Overall Memory” on page 80.

If memory errors persist or quickly
reappear, delete some or all of the
messages from your individual
message boxes. See the specific
procedures described in this chapter
to delete messages from a specific
message box.

Note:

If your memory is too full to

accept a long message and a short
message arrives, your phone accepts
the short message while the long one
is waiting.

Memory is full

A new message fills

to full capacity.
