. If you travel beyond
the range of a cellular system, the No Service
Indicator appears to let you know that calls
cannot be placed or received from your
location.

. Displayed when
the phone has received a message. The
symbol will flash when your message storage
area is full.

Voicemail Waiting Indicator*
. Displayed
when you have a voice message waiting.

Battery Charge Indicator
. The more
segments displayed, the greater the battery
charge.

Clock*.
When your phone is using a CDMA
digital network, the display shows the
current local time and date. You can set your
clock for 12- or 24-hour format. See page 53
