Accessing the Gateway

Use the SVG7782 Modem Web Manager to view the various configuration settings and operational
status of the gateway.

Starting the Gateway Web Manager

Note

: Use the following default username and password to log on to the SVG7782 Web Manager for the

first time. For network security purposes, it is recommended that you change the user name and

password after logging on. See

Changing the Default Password

for more information.

1.

Open any web browser on the computer connected to the SVG7782.

2.

In the Address bar, type

http://192.168.0.1

for the Gateway Web Manager IP address, and

then press

Enter

. The gateway Login screen displays.

3.

Type the default username and password. Both entries are case-sensitive.
Username:

admin

Password:

motorola

Login

to open the SVG7782 Web Manager. The SVG7782 Status Connection page displays.
