SBV5422 SURFboard Digital Voice Modem

Introduction

The Motorola SBV5422 SURFboard 2-Line Digital Voice Modem with an integrated DECT 6.0 
cordless base station provides high-speed access to the Internet and other online services, 
with VoIP connections for up to two telephone lines. Your system supports up to five 
cordless handsets, and offers a potential plug-and-play home alarm connection (RJ-31x).

Before You Start...

Please read and understand the Safety and Regulatory Information at the beginning of the 
manual before attempting to install this product.

Signing Up for Service

You must sign up with a cable provider to access the Internet and other online services. 

To activate your service, call your local cable provider. 

To receive data service, you need to provide the MAC address printed on the bar code label 
marked HFC MAC ID on the back of the cable modem. You can record it here:

To receive telephone service, you need to provide the MAC address printed on the bar code
