Don’t install your batteries the wrong way—note the polarity (+ and -) shown inside the battery compartment.

Don’t mix new and old batteries.

Don’t mix batteries of different types (alkaline/rechargeable).

Don’t try to recharge alkaline batteries.

Remove batteries before storing the product for extended periods of time.
