Disassembly

V3x

Removing and Replacing the Flip Display Assembly

1.

Remove the battery cover, battery, SIM, antenna, rear housing, transceiver
board assembly, keypad assembly, flip assembly, and flip cover as described in
the procedures.

2.

Use the disassembly tool to unseat the flip assembly flex connector from the
display assembly (see Figure 22).

3.

Move the flex connector away from the display assembly.

The flexible printed cable (FPC) (flex) is easily damaged. Exercise extreme care when
handling.
